Samen bilden die Grundlage unseres Lebens. Die Ausstellung Seeds. Reclaiming Roots, Sowing Futures erkundet die vielschichtigen Bedeutungen von Samen und Saatgut als Spiegel unseres Verhältnisses zur Erde und zueinander. Werke von vierzehn internationalen Künstler*innen erzählen vom Verschwinden und Bewahren, von Verlust und Regeneration, vom Potenzial des Sorgens und des gemeinsamen Wachsens. Die Ausstellung schlägt Brücken zwischen Kunst, Ökologie und Aktivismus und lädt zur Reflexion über mögliche Zukünfte ein.

For this work, I explored seeds as carriers of past and future, translating them from biological entities into digital objects. Using photographs from the archive of a species conservation project at the Botanical Garden of the University of Vienna, the artist creates AI-supported 3D models and speculative seed hybrids.
